CAT programs offer intensive clinical behavioral health services to families living with youth aged

11-21 who are at risk of institutional placement due to mental health issues, substance abuse, or

co-occurring disorders.

The community action team concept utilizes a multidisciplinary, person-centered approach to coordinate treatment interventions and natural

supports. Services are tailored to the individual needs of youth, allowing them to remain

successfully in their homes and communities and offering a lower cost alternative to foster care,

juvenile/criminal justice, or residential care.
